ABOUT

"Their music reaches out to those who feel emptiness and gives a sense of realism"

- NME Magazine -

The Roaches are a North West London based rock band, who take inspiration from bands like Nirvana, Biffy Clyro, and Foo Fighters. The Roaches tend to create songs with deeper meanings and this allows their target audience to empathise with some of the oblique ideas they put across in their music.

The Roaches consists of our lead singer Ben Carson aged 21, the basest Jimmy Granger 20, and the drummer Carl Greene aged 21. These boys grew up together all living in the area of Mill Hill, and attending JFS School during their teenage years. As best friends they went through all of lives events together including the loss of Ben Carson Father at the age of 13

Our lead singer from Lincolnshire Ben Carson has previously struggled with mental illness and finds writing, singing, performing live to be a kind of catharsis, beneficial to his recovery from depression. Through listening to his lyrics you can grasp a deeper understanding into what he deals with on a daily basis.
